Betsy was born and grew up in New England. She worked in Boston for 15 years then moved to Virginia to begin family life. She has lived in Virginia for almost 15 years with her husband and son and juggled her roles as mother, daughter, and wife. She served on the board of the historical society, worked part time at a school, and most recently was the Parish Administrator at a church.

Betsy enjoys spending time with her family, yoga, swimming, walking, gardening, being near the water, almost anything French, and romantic comedies. She also loves baseball, especially the Red Sox, backyard bird watching, photography, finding joy in the small things in life, and visiting Cape Cod.
