Look Back & Look Ahead

Fall is usually a busy season in our household.  School is in full swing.  Our son’s birthday is in mid-October and there is so much to do at school and in our community.  So when I get thoughtful, and I look back to the recent past and to many of my previous Fall seasons, I realize it has always been a busy time. 

I became a coach and opened my business in the Fall.  It was a whirlwind of learning the how to’s of coaching, entrepreneurship, and so many business requirements.  I’m so glad I am where I am now.  

Our son was adopted here in the United States in the Fall and we became a family when he was 2 days old.  His arrival and his birth mother’s decision to choose us to be his parents, were the culmination of a lifelong dream.  I had always wanted to be a mother.  It took more time than I expected but he was worth the wait.  He has grown up and he is doing well.

I kind of wish I was younger, but I have finally created a life I love and I am excited about my future! And that is a new feeling.
